The NMR Facilities of the Chemistry Department are located in two buildings, Smart Energy 0200 and Science2 G14. The labs are equipped with four superconducting NMR systems ranging from 100 to 600 MHz. The Pharmacy School hosts a 400 MHz NMR in the Center of Excellence Building (COE-B028). These instruments are used independently by various research students and faculty in the Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, and Materials Science programs. Additionally, we provide NMR service and analysis to other departments on campus, as well as to various universities, colleges, and companies in the region.
| Tours of our facility and demonstrations of our instruments can be arranged for schools, teachers, students, and researchers. To schedule tours, training, service requests, or for general NMR assistance please contact the NMR Specialist, Dr. Jürgen Schulte, Phone: (607)777-4405.
