Research Interests

Our research interests are primarily focused on understanding the structure-function/property relationship of materials for energy storage and conversion. This understanding is predicated on a thorough description of materials’ structure and structural evolution during reaction, which is characterized by a range of methods, such as X-ray diffraction/scattering. In particular, we are interested in materials for Li-ion and other alkaline-ion, such as Na-ion, batteries.
