For Undergraduates
Student-driven research projects are available in areas of electrochemical energy storage and materials development for energy applications. Highly motivated students willing to dedicate 12-15 hrs per week of laboratory/research time are encouraged to apply.
Required course work: A solid background in general chemistry and calculus-based physics is required for Freshmen and Sophomores. Junior and Senior students are expected to have completed or taking courses in the areas of solid-state chemistry and materials characterization.
Interested students should make an appointment to discuss their research interests and potential projects. An academic transcript and a resume should be sent to Dr. Liu before the appointment.
